The Sands of Kahana Concerned Owners (SOKCO) group is approximately 1500 Sands of Kahana (SOK) time share owners at the current time. SOKCO is a non-profit corporation registered in the state of Washington. SOKCO is dedicated to keeping the Sands of Kahana a first-class resort.

The Goals of the SOKCO are:

1. Enhance communication between owners
2. Eliminate use of resort facilities by local non-owners
3. Ensure the SOK Vacation Club Board of Directors is Independent of Resort Management
4. Ensure Financial transparency
5. Upgrade Resort Facilities
6. Beautify Koi Pond

The SOKCO sends out periodic emails to the members detailing current events occurring on Maui and at the Sands of Kahana. The SOKCO believes that since the Sands of Kahana time share owner has a financial stake in the resort that it is important that regular communications are provided to the Sands of Kahana time share owners. Since the Sands of Kahana owners rarely hear from the Sands of Kahana Vacation Club (SOKVC) Board of Directors or from Soleil Management (the managing company of the Sands of Kahana) SOKCO has assumed that role.

SOKCO, as a service to the Sands of Kahana time share owners, provides notices to the SOKCO owners base of Sands of Kahana owners- who would like to rent out their reserved time at the Sands of Kahana. SOKCO, also provides notices to the SOKCO owners base of Sands of Kahana units that the SOK owner wishes to sell. In addition, SOKCO provides notices to the SOKCO owners base of SOK owners who would like to rent additional vacation time at the Sands of Kahana. SOKCO does charge a very nominal fee of $25 to prepare and send out the various notices to the SOKCO owners base. If the first notice sent out by SOKCO is not successful, SOKCO will send for the Sands of Kahana time share owner a second notice at no charge.
